Multi-site asbestos surveys for a commercial property portfolio
The assignment
A commercial property client required a coordinated asbestos survey programme across occupied properties in Denmark. The work needed consistent records while respecting access arrangements and normal activity at each site.
The practical challenge
The work covered fourteen occupied properties with different building forms, access arrangements and operational constraints. The survey programme had to remain consistent while recording where access was limited and where further intrusive work could be required before future disturbance.
Our work
ACED Miljø planned the site sequence, reviewed available building information, inspected accessible materials, selected representative samples and coordinated accredited laboratory analysis. Reports distinguished confirmed asbestos-containing materials from visually similar unsampled materials and inaccessible areas.

Confirmed materials, similar untested materials and inaccessible areas were reported separately.
Why this mattered to the client
The client received a usable baseline for property management and future work. The reports did not imply that uninspected areas were clear, which helped prevent a management survey from being misread as an unrestricted demolition survey.
